Lol, having all the monuments would be quite an interesting requirement. Would mean that a person would have to be adept at both pve grind and pvp. Although idk about requiring the pvp ones seeing as having a boss aura from bosses that you encounter in pve sounds more like something that would come from pve. And what about all the people that didn't manage to get the HB monument? Permanently prevented from acquiirng a boss aura. And mini-pets? not quite possible to include them seeing as new ones are always coming out and there are uber rare ones that only a handful of people have. Have everything from hero, armor, weapon monument + pve title monuments? idk. Now it's just sounding poorly specified >_<

Good idea , looks fun but , looking at what should be made at the moment to make the game better ( bots , codex , inactivity , etc.. ) , the supposed update we're waiting for weeks , that will be delayed and delayed , it's hard to expect such a few thing to happen .
Anyway , in my opinion , that could be implemented like costumes , and you would need to pay something for it . Since , after few years , and as i said not many new content , almost everyone got r4-6 max titles , and as well for the hall of monuments , everyone would have it easily , without doing anything . The same can happen if you unlock it by doing quests .
So , to sum up , it's a " fun " idea , but not a " must " , thus it won't get implemented in my opinion , but it could appear like costumes.

Have to agree with this.
GWAMM is a conscious choice to achieve, one which does not interest me what-so-ever and really has little merit or stigma in GW any more.
Would be cool to get a title or reward based on the amount of time you have been an active player as opposed to yet another reward based on little more than repeating content.
To see such a reward for players that have stuck with the game for 5 years, regardless of your play style and motivations, would be a cool thing.
After all....

Would be nice as long as you could turn it off & on. I guess it could be added as an item craftable by the dwarf that makes chaos gloves as an ecto sink? It would be fun at first then after a week you'd have to not wear it to look unique, just like with chaos gloves

You mean something that go to people who played for 5 years since now or also to apply in the future after 5 years play?
If only the first case, all the ones who didn't buy it at realise would be cut out...

Exactly.
We are talking hypothetically here so lets say a 3-4 year award.
Seems redundant to contemplate 5 years from today...for obvious reasons.
I just like the idea of players that have been around since the early days getting a reward or optional aesthetic differentiation, regardless of how many in game hours they have or whether or not they jumped on the title grind bandwagon.
As opposed to what we have at present this would be a cool option and when my guilds dead, I'd sure as heck know who to PuG with.

Hear no evil see no evil I get it.
Might be true? You are clueless, it's not an insult it's an observation.
You did it all on your ele, ele's had SF and abused it just as much, if you didn't use it than good for you but none of us will know that for a fact, your HoM doesn't say anything about you doing it the way the game intended, nor does an abusers HoM have the asterisk it deserves.
Nothing more than a joke now.

I think cruising through the show off your titles thread and applying that to the majority or even a large minority of GW players is naive. I'm still having trouble finding GWAMM's or even Guild Hall Smells characters anywhere other than in major trading centers or pvp areas. I still get "nice title" messages when I cruise through towns on my GWAMM warrior. It's only a joke for people who close themselves off and interact with a select few players, or spend all their time on elitist-filled forums such as GWG.
I predict that if this happens, the most you'll see in any given town other than dist 1-3 of kamadan/LA/shing jea, ID1 HA, or dist 1 GTOB is maybe 2 or 3 boss-aura GWAMM characters, unless you stumble across a gathering of them deciding to screw around somewhere else.

I say give some sort of boss aura to the different ranks of the RA title. Oh how I wish for a Gladiator title emote or something. Please?

QFT. Whenever I see someone with some godly title, hard(est) to obtain armor, or some graphical animation from a /rank. I give no shit, and keep moving. Pretty sure the number of people who share my exact same motivation is in the thousands as well.

Which is exactly how I play but you, and the poster you quoted, seem to be making the assumption that the people who obtain the aforementioned rewards do so purely for status in the community which is highly inaccurate in my experience.

And the people who have the achievement prolly give no shit that you give no shit, but enjoy the fact that you still had to see it whether you care or not. Maybe even think it's more satisfying that you are so determined to give no shit.

Excluding people from the opportunity to earn the aura would be wrong, but if we all have the same game, I'm not sure how that is possible.

I spose people will kill/flame me for that but i'd like to see it for a character that reached GWAMM (or 35 titles tho that wouldn't make any difference as the way from 30-35 is mostly Acc-wide titles) without dying. I know that would be unacceptable cause it excludes almost all old characters.
Seriously tho. While it certainly looks cool i'm not really able to think of any achievement that'd be worth it. For Skill Hunter it would make the most sense since that requires alot of Boss killing. Lets say whenever you have all elites of one proffession on your character you get that proffessions elite color.
